Springer AS is the exclusive producer of the Springer dog tether for bicycles. Manufactured in Norway, the tether is distributed in the USA and Canada through its subsidiary, Springer, Inc. Over 350,000 Springer tethers are already in use.
The Third Hand on a Bike
Most dog owners know that cycling with a dog is good exercise, both for the dog and for its owner. However, holding a leash while cycling can be dangerous, as dogs often go their own way, without warning. The spring-loaded Springer? dog tether solves the problem by absorbing more than 90 % of the tug on a leash. The Springer? also functions like a ?third hand?, as it enables the rider to keep both hands on the handlebars.
Easy to Attach & Use
The Springer? attachment clamp fits most standard bicycle frames, directly under the seat. The shock-absorbing spring is held away from the cyclist?s leg and is mounted low, providing greater bike stability. The spring is fitted with an extension mast for leash attachment, keeping the leash up and away from the dog?s paws.
