Norwegian oil and gas group Norsk Hydro said on Thursday that it had awarded a pipelaying contract worth 660 million Norwegian crowns ($97.98 million) to Italian oilfield services group Saipem.
The contract is for deep-water pipelaying for Norsk Hydro’s
Ormen Lange gas field development, which is Norway’s biggest
current offshore project, the Norwegian energy and metals group
said in a statement.
