The Environmentally Friendly Bag

During the last decades the focus on the possibilities to recycle used packaging (including FIBCs) had become more intense. The issue with the 1-loop bags is that they normally have an outer bag made of Polypropylene and an inner liner...

Based on customer demands, Polybulk developed and introduced “The Single Product Bag” in the Scandinavian market at the end of the 90’s. The technical innovation and development was done in cooperation with one of the major polymer producers in Europe. As the name of this product reveals, all parts of the bag; outer bag, inner liner, sleeve and sewing threads, are made out of one single polymer type; Polypropylene.

Today, more and more customers are moving from the PE-liner to the PP-liner and also use that to show that their companies are contributing to environmentally friendly solutions, whilst at the same time saving money for their customers.

Before collecting traditional big bags, the inner liner must be separated from the outer bag. With the “Single Product Bag”, this operation is unnecessary.
