SAR took part in the jury in a the sustainability project that arranged at Bryne ungdomsskole on Friday June 3rd under the auspices of Young Entrepreneurship. Young Entrepreneurship is a nationwide organization that, together with the education system, the business community and other participants, works to develop children and young people’s creativity, creative joy and belief in themselves.
This time it was the company Aarbakke at Bryne who had created a challenge where student groups competed to come up with the best idea of how different types of metal shavings from their operating operations could be reused or become a new product.
The motivation and creativity among the students was sky high and the jury had difficulties choosing and nominating specific winners. Finally the top three got their well deserved prizes, and the winning ideas were:
It was fantastic to be part of this and see such great environmental commitment among the young people. This bodes well for the future and we hope to see many of these great minds in our industry in the future .
