The Sahara Forest Project first presented its dream of building the world’s first facility to combine a seawater-based greenhouse, concentrated solar power (CSP) system, and re-vegetation of desert areas during the UN Climate Negotiations COP 15 in Copenhagen in 2009. Three years later, its vision is being realized.
