The German retailer Aldi Süd, which has approximately 1,650 stores in Germany, has chosen TOMRA as its main supplier of reverse vending machine systems for non-refillable beverage containers.

TOMRA and Aldi Süd have therefore entered into an agreement for the delivery of approximately 1,200 reverse vending machine systems with an option for up to 500 additional machines. The deliveries will start in 2005, but the majority of the machines will be installed during first half 2006.
