Transmission Products?
Centa products are used to connect diesel engines to an integral gearbox in main propulsion and auxiliary drives. They can also be used to connect gearbox outputs to water jets, propeller shafts, PTO drives and other systems.

Centadisc Drive Shafts

Centax two-row coupling between the engine and gearbox of the main propulsion drive of Rovde Shipping?s Ocean Challenger (a UT746C cable laying vessel built by S?viknes Yard) transmits 2 x 5,300 kW.

Centas specialities are long, lightweight Centadisc carbon-fibre composite shafts for use where low weight and long spans between bearings are required.
