Following up business contacts

Circulating a report of all decisions taken at a meeting is an excellent way of demonstrating that you took the meetings seriously and will make a good impression. If a contact is very important, it is a good idea to follow up with a phone call soon after a meeting, for instance with a polite summary of agreed tasks.
