Ementor has been assigned a frame agreement with Helse Vest RHF (Health Region West – regional health enterprise) within ICT. The agreement is valid for 2 years with an option of annual renewal in 3 years. Estimated value of the agreement is MNOK 50 per year.
The frame agreement includes delivery of client, server, storage, networking products, consulting services and service agreements to the health enterprises on the west coast of Norway.
Helse Vest will see to that the citizens of the health region receive the health services they are entitled to. In order to ensure effective use of IT, Helse Vest will establish a separate company for the IT functions within the region. Helse Vest is responsible for all the publicly owned hospitals in Rogaland, Hordaland and Sogn & Fjordane (Health Førde, Health Bergen, Health Fonna, Health Stavanger and the Pharmacy West), and has an IT cooperation with several of the private health institutions within the region.
“Ementor was chosen because the company presented a cost effective offer, has good geographical coverage and because we have good experience with Ementor after several years of cooperation”, says Erik Hansen, ICT Director in Helse Vest RHF.
“Ementor is grateful for the trust shown by Helse Vest RHF in terms of using Ementor in several central areas within ICT. In several years we have delivered this type of technology and services to Health Bergen and Health Førde and are looking forward to working with Health Stavanger, Health Fonna and the Pharmacy West so that we could contribute with our knowledge and solutions to the new ICT company”, says Magnar Bakketeig, Director Infrastructure Solutions in Ementor.
