The Johan Sverdrup oil field is to be developed in several phases. Phase one consists of four bridge-linked platforms, in addition to three subsea water injection templates.
Phase One of the project involves the establishment of a Field Centre comprising of four main bridge-linked platforms for living quarters (including utilities), a process platform, a drilling platform and a riser platform. The field will be operated by electrical power generated onshore. Oil will be exported via a dedicated pipeline to the Mongstad terminal in Hordaland. Production start-up is scheduled for the end of 2019.
COMPLETE ELECTRICAL HEAT TRACING PACKAGE
BARTEC TECHNOR will supply the complete Electrical Heat Tracing package, including accessories for the entire Field Center. The contract also includes options for future projects such as Johan Castberg, Snorre 2040 and Peregrino II.
