IKT Norge

ICT Norway is the trade organisation for the Norwegian ICT industry and the collective voice of its members. They have more than 350 members, of all sizes, and support the principles of a market economy and of private enterprise.

ICT Norway works to increase the market for ICT products and services and to enhance the credibility of the ICT sector. It also promotes the use of ICT throughout Norwegian society and encourages its member companies to participate in R&D projects.

ICT Norway has a close dialogue with the parliament and government of Norway, and we are frequently called upon as an expert source when matters concerning ICT are discussed, both politically and in the media.

ICT Norway is heavily involved in R&D projects concerning IT. We function as matchmaker between different companies seeking partners for specific R&D projects under the ICT Norway umbrella, and obtain funding for these projects.

In the international arena, ICT Norway actively promotes the export of Norwegian products and services. The organisation also acts as matchmaker for Norwegian and international companies, bringing them together in a dynamic Norwegian meeting place. ICT Norway has an exclusive cooperation agreement with the Norwegian Trade Council to implement initiatives that encourage Norwegian software companies to export their products and services. We work to increase export sales of Norwegian software and to find Norwegian partners for foreign companies
