World oil honchos congregate in Norway

Some 150 of the world's most powerful oil men and women will meet this week at Sanderstølen, a remote mountain hotel in central Norway where the oil industry's leaders have come together annually for nearly 30 years to discuss their problems far from the prying eyes of the world media. At this year's meeting the guest list includes Saudi Arabian Oil Minister Ali al-Naimi, U.S. presidential adviser James Baker, BP-Amoco CEO James Browne and World Health Organization chief Gro Harlem Brundtland. The official host will be Olav Akselsen, Norway's minister of petroleum and energy.
