Welcome to a H2020 seminar 25 November!

Given the high success rate (30 %) in joint applications involving Norwegian and South African researchers in FP7, both countries hope to continue this trend in the H2020 calls.  In the first instance we will concentrate on facilitate partnerships towards the upcoming Secure and Clean Energy, as well the Climate Action, Resource Efficiency and Raw Materials work programmes.

South Africa is one of the few non-European H2020 associated members, and ESASTAP Plus is an EU-financed platform for strategic cooperation in science and technology between the European Union and South Africa. It will soon be replaced by ESASTAP H2020 where RCN will be one of the European partners.

The seminar on 25 November (see the H2020 Preliminary program (DOCX-519.9 KB) ) will be held back-to-back with the annual High Level Bilateral Consultations between Norway and South Africa. A number of researchers and officials from South Africa will attend the seminar and present the opportunities for collaboration. The seminar will be open to all interested researchers and research administrators. All we need is to have you fill in the attached registration_form by 19 November at the latest. Please feel free to spread the word to colleagues you think may also be interested.
