TMC opens office in Busan, Korea

Tamrotor Marine Compressors (TMC), world leading supplier of compressed air systems for marine and offshore use, have opened an office in Busan, Korea.

Tom Erik RanheimTo strengthen their presence in the very important yard market in Korea and the surrounding geographies, TMC has recently opened a TMC office in Busan, Korea.

The office will be headed by Mr. Tom Erik Ranheim, long time area sales manager for the region. In addition to Mr. Ranheim, who will focus on sales, the Busan operation will start out with two service engineers and an administrative assistant, all recruited locally.

 

“TMC's vision is to have the most satisfied customers in the marine andPer Kjellin offshore business, and we always have our customers’ best interests at heart”, says Mr. Per Kjellin, Managing Director of TMC. “Establishing TMC Korea is an important step on the road to fulfilling our vision for our Korean customers”, he adds.

Mr. Tom Erik Ranheim, head of TMC Korea says that “our customers are professional and demanding and have placed a lot of business with TMC. We want to earn their continued support by increasing our service level and to be present when and where they need it without having to worry about time difference, geographical distance or communication problems.”

“Local presence in Korea means that we can serve the Korean yards even better than we have in the past”, says Mr. Ranheim. “With local TMC resources for technical service and back office services such as documentation handling, we can be even quicker and more efficient in our dealings with customers in Korea and the other markets in the region”, he concludes.

The office is located in Ocean Tower, Woo-dong 760-3.
