The Nordic Marine Insurance Plan of 2013

The basis for the Plan is the Agreement of 3rd November 2010 between The Nordic Association of Marine Insurers (Cefor); the Danish Shipowners' Association; the Finnish Shipowners' Association; the Norwegian Shipowners' Association; and the Swedish Shipowners' Association. The agreement established a Standing Revision Committee (SRC) that has drafted the Plan and is also given the authority to draft future amendments to the Plan text and Commentary, based on proposed changes from the members of the Agreement.

Written amendments of the Plan and the Commentary (in relation to the Norwegian Marine Insurance Plan 1996, Version 2010) are both shown in the text of the Plan and highlighted in the preface of the Plan. In the preface there is also a listing of the members of the SRC.

On the website of The Nordic Marine Insurance Plan of 2013, www.nordicplan.org, you will find the full version of the Plan, as well as the Commentary and translations into Norwegian, Swedish and Danish. The earlier versions of The Norwegian Marine Insurance Plans are also available.
