Strong August for Norwegian Seafood Exports

The value of Norwegian Seafood exports have increased by 20 per cent in the same month last year.

The value of Norwegian seafood exports came to a total of NOK 4.7 million at the end of August.

“A reduction in the volume of exports, combined with strong demand for Norwegian Salmon and Norwegian Fjord Trout, is keeping Norwegian Salmon prices high and accounts for the growth in the value of Norwegian seafood exports,” says Egil Ove Sundheim, director of market information with the Norwegian Seafood Council.
