STC provides its customers with Opera Mini

STC has signed an agreement with Opera Software to allow customers use the Opera Mini browser as part of the package provided to STC’s customers in KSA regardless of the type of handset used. This service will offer high functionality, ensuring quick navigation across the web.

“STC is always anxious to provide the latest solutions and any operating systems to smartphone customers, combined with the best internet and data exchange experience through its solid wireless networking infrastructure. With Opera Mini customers will able to compress webpages by 90%, reducing traffic costs for operators by a considerable amount," says Ibrahim Al Omar, Vice President for Personal Services, STC.

By signing this agreement with STC, we continue to follow our vision,” says Opera Software CEO Mr. Lars Boilesen. “Opera Mini is the perfect app for web surfing no matter if you are a casual mobile internet user, or a heavy-duty internet user who wants to be prepared for all situations.”
