Statoil puts Melkøya LNG back in production

After a three week temporary shutdown, the Arctic LNG plant is back in production.

The Melkøya plant, which operates on gas from the Snøhvit field in the Barents Sea, was shut down on 10 July following the ingression of water into the natural gas dryers.

The plant was back in production on 3 August, a press release from Statoil reads.
