Statoil Njord A Subsea Manifold System

Scope of work

The scope of work consists of engineering, manufacturing and delivery of three off Subsea Manifold Systems (SMS) for branching production fluids from three wells into one riser. The delivery includes procurement of remotely operated chokes and isolation valves, and installation of an RTS system.

3 off Subsea Manifold Systems

Description

Statoil is planning to tie-back the Hyme field to the Njord A platform (see figure below), at a water depth of around 330 meters.

The riser slots that Njord A currently uses for the existing risers will be allocated to Hyme. In order to maintain production from these wells, two or more wells will need to be connected to the same riser. A connection system for connecting two or three wells to the same riser will therefore be needed. The SMS includes a combined manifold and riser base. The operation pressure for the wells may differ.
