The extension is valid for 2 years, from 01.09.2016 until 01.09.2018. In addition, Statoil expands the contract to also include drilling waste from oil fields serviced by the Dusavik base in Stavanger.

BIGGEST PLAYER IN TREATMENT OF DRILLING WASTE

These changes mean that SAR is the biggest player in the treatment of drilling waste in Norway, and it reinforces this activity as an important core activity for the company. SAR very much appreciates the continuing confidence and trust shown by Statoil in extending the contract and widening the contract scope.
