Statoil awards service contracts

Welltec and Aker Well Services will deliver solutions for equipment deployment and maintenance in horizontal wells on more than 40 installations on the Norwegian continental shelf.

Statoil says in a press release that this technology is important to increase recovery on the company's fields offshore.
