Stadt signed major contract in Asia!

Stadt is pleased to announce that today they have signed their largest contract ever!

Stadt ASNam Cheong Group in Malaysia has expanded its orders of electric propulsion system from Stadt. Which includes a total of 16(!) new AHTSV ships. This contract is by far the largest in the 28 years long history of Stadt. The whole delivery includes all electric propulsion systems on board the various vessels, as well as automation.

Stadt ASIt is the patented "Stadt STASCHO No-Loss drive system" that will be used, which is the fifth generation of the technology from Stadt .

Recently Stadts technology became the winner of OSJ 's Environmental Award in London as the best product within environmentally friendly ship propulsion .

 

Stadt aims to be a world-leading supplier of electric propulsion systems for ships. - We are now well on our way to reaching our goal, says a very happy Hallvard Slettevoll , CEO of Stadt AS.
