Sharecat wins global agreement

Sharecat Solutions has been awarded a global contract to support a best-practice, cost-reduction drive for one of the oil and gas supermajor owner/operators to standardise their greenfield project supply chain information, worldwide.

Under a global agreement ShareCat will deploy its ‘capture and collaboration’ solution, managing a central information storage for the company’s projects that is designed to drive efficency and standardisation into project execution, speeding information handling substantially.

In oil and gas projects SHAREcat supply chain information management technology has been shown to  improve data accuracy at handover by 50%, shorten time to first oil and reduce project execution costs, according to industry user feedback. To date Sharecat solutions have been implemented by some thirty industry owner operators and engineering firms and used by over 500 supply chain members in almost thirty major offshore projects, worldwide.

“We are pleased to have struck this global agreement as a result of a long and stimulating relationship , and to be supporting their  industry best practice” adds Sharecat Solutions managing director Dag Pettersen. “Going forward, this contract  will cement our reputation as a significant global supplier for energy supply chain information management”.
