SA-Norway research cooperation highlighted in Norwegian press

The article is called Høyteknologisk vaskehjelp (High Tech Cleaning Service) and is written by Josefine Krogh Selj and Erik Stensrud Marstein from IFE. Both are researchers working on the SANCOOP-project Performance of PV modules in arid areas - effects of soiling and module technology on yearly yield, Erik being the Norwegian PI. The South African PI is Johannes Matthias Strauss.

Having been published in a Norwegian newspaper, the text, of course, is in Norwegian. Our apologies to our English-speaking readers for not providing a translation. The important point, however, is that this type of popular science presentation are very valuable in order to inform the general public – and research funders – about the value of the research being undertaken in programmes such as SANCOOP.

RCN encourages other research projects to emulate this excellent form for dissemination!

The Research Council of Norway congratulates
