Research that tackles society’s great challenges

Faximile With Norway’s knowledge potential as its starting point, Forskning magazine discusses the Research Council of Norway’s recommendations for the 2013 national budget, which propose that priority be given to climate change, environmental technology, the bioeconomy, and welfare and health, in addition to state-of-the-art scientific equipment and infrastructure.

The magazine’s new issue also presents the Research Council’s input to the new white paper on research to be completed in 2013.

Forskning magazine

Forskning magazine offers news and features about Norwegian research and the initiatives and activities of the Research Council. The magazine also focuses on the internationalisation of Norwegian research as well as the debate on strategies, plans and decisions concerning Norwegian research in general.

Four issues a year

Forskning is issued (in Norwegian) four times a year. Selected articles from the magazine are translated into English on a regular basis and published on the Research Council website.
