REFA changes name to Vónin Refa

From 17 August, REFA will be known as Vónin Refa AS.

Facts

Vónin Refa is a leading manufacturer and total supplier for the global fishery and aquaculture industries.

In 2008, the Faroese group Vónin entered as a shareholder in what was then called Refa Frøystad Group AS (RFG). After Vónin purchased all the shares, the company name was in 2013 changed to Refa Group AS. In recent years Vónin has established operations and subsidiaries in several countries, all of which have added Vónin to their name. This time it was Refa Group AS 's turn to change the company name.  From Monday August 17 their company name is Vónin Refa AS. With the name change it becomes more apparent that the company is a part of a large international group.

The management and employees of the company are positive to the name change, and they report there will be no changes for customers and partners. CEO Ron Moan in Vonin Refa AS states that as the Vónin name becomes even more visible, also in Norway, they are all looking forward to continued growth and development in the Norwegian market.
