Proper actions to alarms

Norwegian Hull Club wishes to emphasize increased safety on board with a focus on welfare, environment, assets and the distribution of useful experience. In this letter we focus on proper actions to alarms.

Dear Captain

Last year one of our members suffered a main engine damage of severe nature; the reason being a combination of technical failure, lack of good judgment and poor communication. We have previously touched upon all these issues, but please consider this as a reminder and discuss this casualty information letter with officers and crew on board your good vessel.
