Preparations in place for Transatlantic Science Week 2013

Security research and educational research are among the main themes of this year’s Transatlantic Science Week to be held in Washington DC, 12-13 November.

“A long list of researchers from the US and Norway have already registered for the event,” states Are Straume, Science and Higher Education Counselor at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Washington DC.

The general theme of this year’s Science Week is “Shared Solutions to Common Challenges,” covering the following thematic areas: international security, cyber security, safety and emergency preparedness as well as educational policy and educational research.
