Powel AS acquires Optimization Partner Stockholm AB

Acquisition strengthens optimization solutions for the energy sector.

Powel announced today that it has acquired the Swedish company Optimization Partner, a supplier of optimization modeling and expert consulting to the energy, steel, logistics and financial sectors. The acquisition will strengthen the in-house optimization expertise of Powel, enabling improved modeling and decision support software, as well as allowing development of bespoke optimization solutions for Powel customers.

“We are delighted to welcome Optimization Partner into the Powel family. We look forward to utilizing their expertise to solve our customers’ most challenging optimization problems and adapt our solutions to fit the needs of international customers”, says Bård Benum, CEO of Powel.
