Partnering gives Niri the opportunity to spread more effective production methods

Partnering with others gives Niri the opportunity to spread more effective production methods in the market and to innovate on business models.

Niri may enter into licensing agreements with third parties. The licensing arrangement provides opportunity for other producers to implement Niri production technology tailored to their business model and needs. Industrial investors, companies with complementary business models and technology partners can develop a highly profitable production offering in partnership with Niri.

For example, fish processing companies can access to a dependable and high quality source of fish. Niri´s production model is based on an ongoing take-out of fish, allowing a constant supply of fish to a processing facility. For biogas or other renewable energy producers, a range of synergies can be developed. Niri production involves capture of sludge and waste that are high in energy content. In addition, excess heat can be used to produce a range of different species even in colder environments.

Our licensing arrangement includes

  • Pre-study and planning for facility conducted by Niri on contract
  • Licensing and set-up of production facility
  • Management and product support package when relevant
  • Option for delivery of various services that support production, ranging from delivery of juveniles to market agreements for fish sales

The terms for licensing are regulated based on the actual set-up from case to case. Niri may also partner with complementary technology partners in licensing arrangements to develop integrated production offerings for the market. For example, the are relevant synergies with suppliers of processing plants or suppliers of biogas facilities.
