Official opening of Brunvoll Competence Center

It was time for celebration when Brunvoll gathered their business contacts, suppliers and collaborators at the Brunvoll Competence Center.

The mayor of Molde, Torgeir Dahl, had the honour to officially open the facilities by ringing the ship’s bell. Brunvoll Competence Center and the elevated walkway built across Route E39 connecting the administration building with the production facilities, represent the new beginning for an even more streamlined Brunvoll.

The Great Brunvoll Sextet welcomed the guests with live music in the Brunvoll reception area, and the guests were served lunch and dessert in the large cafeteria. One of the highlights of the opening was the personal message sent by the prime minister of Norway, Erna Solberg, congratulating Brunvoll with the new facilities.

1,5 YEARS PROCESS

Building the Brunvoll Competence Center has taken 1,5 years from the first dig up to the day when the Brunvoll employees could move in. The building was delivered 3 days before deadline, and the project was completed on budget throughout the whole process.

The guests had the opportunity to get a tour of the Brunvoll Competence Center and walk across the elevated walkway over E39. The walkway will be opened for public use in the middle of July 2016.

CONSTRUCTION BY LOCAL COMPANY

”We are incredibly proud and content about the fact that this building has been constructed by a local company, together with local workforce and competence, ” says director in Brunvoll Holding AS Terje Dyrseth. ”The building we are presenting today is an amazing work of architecture. I would like to compliment the great collaboration between the entrepreneurs, and I am impressed by the planning, the drive and the professional work that has been conducted.”

CEO and President in Brunvoll AS Odd Tore Finnøy continues; ”We are very proud to show everyone our new functional office facilities. The new Brunvoll Competence Center and especiallythe elevated walkway connecting the buildings on each side, will have an enormous effect on how Brunvoll will become even more streamlined and effective in the future.”
