Oil production down

The average daily petroleum production on the Norwegian Shelf in April 2010 was about 2 242 000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate. This is 24 000 barrels less than in March 2010.

Gas production was about 8.5 billion Sm 3 , which is 2.0 billion Sm 3 less than in March.

The liquid production in April was: 1 886 000 barrels of oil, 275 000 barrels of NGL and 81 000 barrels of condensate. Production from the Vale field was closed due to technical problems and Draugen and Snorre were closed periodically due to planned maintenance. The average daily production for the foirst four months of this year has been about 1.9 million barrels of oil and the total liquid production about 2.3 million barrels.

Total production so far is about 83.1 million Sm3 o.e. Oil about 36.9 million Sm3 o.e., NGL and Condensate about 6.9 million Sm3 o.e. and Gas about 39.3 millon Sm3 o.e.. This is 2.7 million Sm3 o.e. less than in the same period in 2009.
