Oglaend System in the final of «Norway’s Smartest Industrial Company 2018» award

Out of 40 initial candidates,

Oglaend System Group

Out of 40 initial candidates, Oglaend System has been selected as one of three contestants in the final of the award, hosted by Norsk Industri and Siemens. Here we meet solid competition from Thermo Fisher Scientific and Aker Solutions Moss.

– The nomination confirms that we are on the right path. Our continuous focus on automation and digitalization creates the foundation for innovation and staying competitive, says Gunnar Andersen, CSCO.

Oglaend system has over the last years made large investments in automated and robotized production lines. Our last investment has doubled the production productivity of our flagship product, the Mekano Triangular Channels. These products are now offered as pre-engineered, and have a central role in Oglaend System’s digital platform for the next generation smart support systems.

According to the award committee, all candidates have used automatization and digitalization as  catalysts for commercial successes in global markets.

The winner will be announced at the Industrikonferansen in Oslo 15 May.
