Norwegian Internet start-up cashes in

An American high-tech company, C-Bridge Internet Solutions, has agreed to purchase the fledgling Norwegian Internet consulting firm Bekk for between USD 13 million (NOK 120 million) and USD 18 million (NOK 165 million).

The final purchase price depends on Bekk's upcoming earnings. The leaders of Bekk, Erik Moe-Helgesen and Olav Folkestad, founded their company less than a year ago after a high-profile defection from Norway's Cell Network. The American company expects its new acquisition to continue as a mobile Internet consultancy, accounting for 10 percent of C-Bridge revenues.
