Norwegian Foreign Minister Warns against Intolerance in Society

Espen Barth Eide thinks everyone has a responsibility to act against intolerance.

In a video interview before the European conference on hate speech on the Internet and social media,  Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs Espen Barth Eide reminded everyone has responsibility to speak out against intolerance in society.

- If we let extreme and racist ideas and attitudes go unchallenged in our society, they can grow strong, says Barth Eide in the interview.

Council of Europe, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and EEA Grants organize jointly a European conference on intolerance and hate speech on the Internet and social media in Budapest between 27-28 November.
