Norsafe awarded for best maritime safety product of 2013

Norsafe recieves international recognition in London when named the winner and the best maritime safety equipment of 2013.

The "Safety at Sea Awards" took place in London June this year on board the famous English warship HMS Belfast. This year's award saw a record number of candidates competing for the prestigious award. It is therefore a great honor for Norsafe to win the price for best safety equipment.

Norsafe's newest free-fall lifeboat, GES50 MKIII, won the award receiving great praise from the jurours:“The new free-fall lifeboat from Norsafe, GES50 MKIII, is one of the most advanced LSA equipment around, a real improvement to the lifeboat technology.” One judge added: “If I had to abandon a ship in one of these boats, I would feel secure. A real life-saver.”
