NOK 700 million in research funding up for grabs

791 grant proposals were submitted to the Research Council of Norway for the 16 October application deadline.

Close to forty per cent of these applications were submitted by companies in search of funding for their innovation projects.

“We have a large number of research programmes and other initiatives that combined offer something to all the Norwegian industrial environments carrying out research and development. We know it can be hard to get an overview over what we have to offer, for whom and when. A common application deadline for innovation projects streamlines the process for companies and provides them with more predictability,” states Anne Kjersti Fahlvik, Executive Director of the Division for Innovation at the Research Council.
