NMA appoints coordinator for new entries to NIS

The Norwegian Maritime Authority (NMA) aims to ease the process of registering ships in NIS.

Designated points of contacts have been established for coordination of enquiries within the NMA, confirms Mr. Lars Alvestad, Head of Department.

- The NMA’s Management Team has had the pleasure of meeting with several shipowning companies and other clients within the maritime cluster the past couple of years. Through this dialogue, we have learned that there is a need to simplify the process of how to navigate the Authority in order for clients to get in contact with the proper employee, says Mr. Alvestad.
