Nexans Norway chose TESS

Nexans Norway and TESS Østfold have reached an agreement to establish a Partnershop in Halden, where the biggest part of the cabel company’s operations is situated. The Partnershop will supply the factory with all types of MRO products.

The opening is in May. A three-year contract was signed with options for additional four years. The new Partnershop will be localized in the so-called “cable lounge” just inside of the impressive production facility at Knivsø outside of Halden city. The factory includes Norway’s tallest building, where they produce special cables vertically. The specialty is subsea power cables, direct electrical heating pipes and umbilicals. They produce 24/7 every day of the week through the entire year.
