Swix is introducing the HVC Warm

Swix Sport has more than 60 years of experience serving world class cross-country and alpine skiers with the ultimate racing equipment. Combining the most advanced materials and technology available today, Swix is introducing the HVC Warm. A new fluorinated liquid topping for use as the final layer when waxing for top-level competitions. When speed is the key!

After several years of research and testing, we are proud to launce our new High Velocity Cera Warm (HVC Warm) for those who want to go really fast.

- This new super liquid has proven itself on the racing scene with top results in World Cup, and we are very satisfied with the positive feedback we have got, from both biathlon, cross country and alpine, says product manager Harald Bjerke. - We knew that the HVC Warm was very good based on our own test results, but it’s clearly a strength that the product so quickly was embraced by the service teams and racers on the top-level, he adds.

The HVC Warm is developed for wet and warm conditions, from -2°C to +10°C. On the cold side it works best in high humidity above 70%, but on the warm side it performs great in all humidity’s. For new and old, transformed snow.

HVC Warm is used as the final layer when waxing for top-level competitions. For best performance Swix recommend to apply HVC Warm as the final layer on top of Cera F powder. Brush away the powder as normal before applying and distributing HVC Warm on the base with the felt applicator on the bottle. The fluid will dry quickly. When the base has dried, there is no need for further polishing or brushing. On the contrary, brushing and other finishing can influence the result negatively.

Even if HVC Warm performs best on top of Cera F powder, testing shows that it can also be used on top of Cera Nova HF and LF waxes with good results.

One bottle of HVC Warm contains 50 ml which is enough for 10 to 15 pairs of cross-country skis, or approx. 6 pairs of alpine skis.
