New director of Innovation Norway

Anita Krohn Traaseth has been appointed the new director

Anita Krohn Traaseth has been appointed the new director of Innovation Norway.

Innovation Norway announced earlier today that Anita Krohn Traaseth will be the new director, starting September 2014.

Traaseth is leaving Hewlett-Packard Norway where she has held a number of management positions over the last five years, the last two of these as Managing Director. She has previously worked as M.D. for Simula Innovation, as well as Intelligent Quality AS. Anita has also been the Director of Strategies at DNV.

Traaseth has previously spoken out about her belief that managers should not remain in the same position for too long, so the move is hardly surprising. With strong experience within management, technology, innovation and strategy she is the ideal candidate.

-         I am very pleased that Krohn Traaseth is taking over as Managing Director for Innovation Norway, says Reidar Sandal, head of the board.
