Meet the political head of Norway's knowledge sector

New beginnings is a recurring theme throughout the latest issue of Forskning magazine. Bladet Forskning 2-12_forside We take a look at the ambitious plans for the new clean energy programme that is taking over for the highly successful RENERGI programme, and we meet the Research Council’s brand-new International Director, Kristin Danielsen.

Other topics in this issue: Innovation and passion, research figures as a basis for policy-making, and the future of the Research Council’s comprehensive funding scheme for independent basic research projects (FRIPRO).
