INTPOW and Innovation Norway - Norwegian Business Delegation to the Republic of Turkey

Their Majesties King Harald V and Queen Sonja are visiting Turkey 5th-7th November.

The planned business delegation will focus on the energy-, maritime- and seafood sectors. The Renewable energy program is concentrated on two topics; hydropower and integration of renewable energy in the energy system.

Turkey is in the process of introducing an electricity market. Large investments in wind power have introduced more intermittent sources of energy into the energy system. The Norwegian business delegation will be discussing these challenges with their Turkish counterparts during the visit to Ankara and Istanbul.
