International market for Norwegian HIV test

The Norwegian biotechnology company Bionor has won a prestigious competitive bidding for the delivery of HIV test kits for an international program for fighting AIDS. Through its British partner, Skien-based Bionor has secured a contract which may be worth NOK 50 million over the next five years, Newswire reports. Bionor's contract is with the US health organization Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) which runs an extensive international program to fight HIV in the world. -This is a fantastic opportunity for us to become introduced the world over, says Bionor's General Manager, Birger Soerensen. He believes Bionor was chosen as supplier because of quality and low price. -This is s result of systematic work over a period of many years.
