INDNOR midterm evaluation

The program plan for INDNOR (2010-19) suggest that a midterm evaluation should take place. After consulting the Norwegian Embassy in India, it was agreed to include the embassy funding in the scope of the evaluation.

The evaluation assignment was assigned to Oxford Research AS. The work with the evaluation started early in September 2015 and the final report was delivered to the Research Council in December.  The report has been presented for and discussed with the Board of the Division of Society and Health at the RCN, and the Indnor Expert Advisory Group (EAG).

The overall finding is that there is agreement among the stakeholder as to the usefulness of the India-programme as a platform for strengthening the Indo-Norwegian research cooperation. Some ideas for improvement and further development is suggested in recommendations to be found in the report.
