Co-operation agreement between Aker Powergas and GexCon.

GexCon and Aker Powergas(APG), a subsidiary of Aker Solutions, announce the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for cooperation on 21st November 2013.
GexCon, world-leading company in the field of safety & risk management, is expanding globally, including India. Aker Powergas provides engineering and construction services and is an important player in the oil and gas industry, with particular reference to Indian and regional market.

The aim is to work together to provide services in global markets and to launch the services of GexCon into Indian market. The joint work will focus on customizing FLACS to local requirements in India, training APG`s technical personnel, develop probabilistic fire analysis methodology, share GexCon’s unique expertise of risk management, advanced dispersion, explosion and fire modelling and contribute to Oil and Gas Industries’ safety studies and regulations through technical support. This cooperation wishes also to set up external training courses/technical seminars  in order to meet the growing demand in this market.

The MOU will be a driving force for the growth of both GexCon and Aker Powergas in the global Oil and Gas market.
