Geothermal energy- an answer for selected areas in Poland

During the last weeks the experts have visited the selected sites in Poland and also been on a study visit to Iceland.

EEA Poland Grant Project, GeoHeatPol meets in Bergen this week. Researchers and experts from Poland, Island and Norway will be discussing how Geothermal energy can be a basis for low-emission space heating, improving living conditions and sustainable development in Poland.

During the last weeks the experts have visited the selected sites in Poland and also been on a study visit to Iceland. In Bergen the project partners will start summarizing and draft the recommendations for the geothermal developing  for the four selected sites. The program in Bergen starts Tuesday 10th  of October and ends following Friday.

The Seminar in Bergen will be opened by Harald Schjelderup, leader of Bergen City Council.
