FRIPRO allocations: NOK 263 million to projects in the humanities and social sciences

The committee has been given an expanded budget framework and was able to award 13.8 per cent of the amount of funding sought.

Distribution by type of grant application

The 52 approved projects are distributed as follows:

  • 18 Researcher Projects
  • 10 Young Research Talents projects
  • 9 Personal Post-Doctoral Research Fellowships
  • 4 FRIPRO Mobility Grants 
  • 11 Support for Events grants

Gender distribution among project managers for Researcher Projects is 10 women and 8 men, and 7 women and 3 men for Young Research Talents. Personal Post-doctoral Research Fellowships were awarded to 3 women and 6 men, and FRIPRO Mobility Grants to 3 women and 1 man.
