Ferguson Norge boosts product range

Ferguson Norge AS, part of the Ferguson Group, specialists in the rental of offshore containers, refrigeration/chiller modules, engineering modules and accommodation solutions to the offshore energy sector, has increased its fleet in Norway ahead of this year’s Offshore Technology Days (OTD) exhibition.

Ferguson Norge has invested in a number of new offshore containers and workspace units, which will be available from its bases in Stavanger, Bergen and Kristiansund. The units are accredited to DNV 2.7-1 and also NORSOK R-002, to ensure that specific standards in the Norwegian market are met.

The Group’s Norwegian operation has also added several new Lifting Frames to its fleet. The frames, which are the ideal method for transporting special cargo to and from offshore locations, have been manufactured to full DNV 2.7-3 standards, enabling the lifting frames to lift over 25 tonnes.

Morten Smith, General Manager – Ferguson Norge AS said, “Investing into the expansion and development of our product range is hugely important across the Ferguson Group in order to meet our clients needs, and we pride ourselves in our ability to offer the highest quality, fully accredited modules and units.

“Our clients’ needs are at the heart of our business and we endeavour to provide industry leading products for their global projects. We have experienced growing demand in Norway and the North Sea, which has increased even further following our relocation to a purpose-built office in Stavanger last year. As our clients’ requirements continue to grow, we will continue to expand our product range to meet their needs.”

Delegates at the OTD exhibition will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from Ferguson Norge to learn more about the range of products available, including its range of containers, accommodation and NORSOK-accredited workspace solutions.

Mr Smith continued: “OTD is an ideal opportunity for us to meet with new and existing clients and suppliers and to showcase our new products and equipment features.”

Ferguson Group will be exhibiting at OTD on 23-24 October in Hall B, stand 2905, at the Stavanger Forum, Stavanger, Norway.
