Farstad Shipping ASA - Vessel delivery and long-term financing

Far Sigma (UT 731 CD) has today Monday 10 February been delivered from Vard Langsten to Farstad Supply AS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Farstad Shipping ASA.

The vessel will trade the spot market in the North Sea.

The long term finance of the vessel is arranged by Eksportkreditt Norge AS in cooperation with GIEK and Nordea Bank Norge ASA.

Farstad Shipping's fleet currently consists of 59 vessels (31 AHTS, 25 PSV and 3 SUBSEA) and 1 AHTS, 2 PSV and 2 SUBSEA under construction. The company's operations are managed from Aalesund, Aberdeen, Melbourne, Perth, Singapore, Macaé and Rio de Janeiro with a total of 2100 employees engaged onshore and offshore.
